Canada Post Return to Work

Updated: Dec 16, 2024

Canada Post will be returning to work on Tuesday, December 17. They have indicated that they will start receiving outgoing mail on December 19.

Mail delivery to and from the Municipality of Middlesex Centre will resume this week, but may be delayed as Canada Post works through the back-log of mail in their system. Until mail service is fully restored, please continue to contact the office for your water bill balances. This month's water bill is due by December 31, 2024.

Water, Tax and other Bills and Payment

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING YOUR BILLS ON TIME, EVEN IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE YOUR BILLS IN THE MAIL.

  • If you need your balance owing, call or email Middlesex Centre Customer Service. If you call in and get sent to voicemail, please leave a message with your name, phone number and street address so that staff may return your call. You can also request your water (utility bill) balance via our online form:

Request your Water Bill Balance

  • Please request your balance before the end of day on Dec. 23 to ensure we can respond before the office closes for the holidays. We will close at 3:00pm on Dec. 24, 2024, and reopen at 8:30am on Jan. 2, 2025.

  • Mail delivery may be delayed, so you may wish to use other payment options such as through your bank or financial institution or the drop-box located at the front entrance of the Komoka Wellness Centre. If you are paying in cash, you will need to come into the Komoka Wellness Centre during business hours to pay - do not put cash in the drop box.

  • As your bills were mailed during the strike, you may receive bills that you've already paid.

To avoid billing interruptions in the future, we encourage you to sign up for e-billing or consider pre-authorized payment options. Learn more on our Billing & Payments page.
