- Recreational Skating
Middlesex Centre offers public skating and drop-in hockey (shinny) throughout the year.
- Ilderton Youth Centre
The Ilderton Youth Centre opened in the Spring of 2022, with programming offered by the BGC London. They offer drop-in and special programs for youth ages 9 to 17 at the centre.

- Komoka Youth Centre
The Komoka Youth Centre opened in the Fall of 2024, with programming offered by the Middlesex Centre YMCA. They offer free drop-in programs for youth 9 to 17 years old.
- Seniors Active Living Centres
Middlesex Centre is pleased to offer seniors-focused recreation and social programs at its community centres in Bryanston, Delaware, Ilderton and Komoka. (Coldstream will have programming when the community centre reopens after the municipal office renovations are complete.)

Register for Recreation Programs
Middlesex Centre's Seniors Active Living Centres make use of our community centres to expand and enhance recreation programs and social activities for older adults. These centres are part of the municipality’s commitment to providing accessible physical and social programs for older adults, as outlined in the Community Services Master Plan and the Age-Friendly Community Action Plan.
Funding provided by the Government of Ontario.
- YMCA at the Komoka Wellness Centre
The YMCA of Southwestern Ontario offers health and fitness programs at the Komoka Wellness Centre. Please visit their website for full program details, including information on youth camps.
The Community Walking Track at the Wellness Centre is open to non-YMCA-members free of charge Monday to Friday from 11am to 1pm. Please contact the YMCA at 519-601-7033 if you have questions.
- Recreation Program Leaders - Join Us!
The Municipality of Middlesex Centre’s recreation programs are growing, and we are looking for leaders to help expand current offerings or introduce new activities.
If you have a skill or idea for a program you would be interested in leading, we’d love to hear from you!
We’re looking for leaders to:
- Lead existing programs during new time slots
- Lead existing programs at new locations in Middlesex Centre
- Develop and lead new programs
- Recommend new activities and ideas
- Help us create positive experiences for all
Our programs run at locations across the municipality, serving residents of all ages. As an independent program leader, in addition to your recreation program expertise, you will need Standard First Aid/CPR C (or willing to obtain) and $5 million in liability insurance (which may be purchased through the municipality).

- Affordable Access to Recreation Program
The Affordable Access to Recreation Program assists residents whose financial situations limit them from participating in recreation programs offered by the Municipality of Middlesex Centre. The program provides successful applicants with a a recreation program credit of $300, which is valid for one year. You may apply for and receive the credit once per year. The program is available to Middlesex Centre residents only, and proof of eligibility is required.
