Middlesex Paving & Maintenance will begin rebuilding the outdoor basketball court within Komoka Park on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
The basketball court will be relocated further away from the tennis court to allow for more playing room, while also being expanded to better replicate NBA basketball court floor dimensions. The basketball court will also have an accessible asphalt walkway to the court from the parking lot.
Komoka Park’s basketball court is getting a major refresh in 2025 thanks to a generous donation of $15,000 from Middlesex Paving & Maintenance and LiUNA Local 1059.
The installation of new basketball nets and painting of sport lines will be completed in the early Spring.
