The municipal office, currently located at the Komoka Wellness Centre, will close at 3:00 pm on December 24, 2024, and reopen at 8:30 am on January 2, 2025.

- Recreation - Komoka Wellness Centre and Ilderton Arena

The Komoka Wellness Centre and the Ilderton Arena will be closed on December 25, December 26 and January 1. They will close early on December 24 and December 31 (at 3:00 pm).
The Booking Desk at the Komoka Wellness Centre will be closed on December 25, December 26 and January 1. The desk will close early on December 24 and December 31 (at 3:00 pm).

A special skating schedule is in place for December 21 to January 5, including daily free public skating!
- Recreation - Programs

Middlesex Centre recreation programs do not run over the holidays. Please visit our online recreation booking site to register for new programs starting in January.
- Recreation - Komoka and Ilderton Youth Centres

Programs at the Ilderton Youth Centre finish for the year on December 22, with a Red Cross Stay Safe Course. Please follow @HeyIldertonYouth on Facebook or Instagram or visit the BGC London website for information on programs starting in January 2025. (First course is Red Cross Babysitting on January 3).
Drop-in Programs at the Komoka Youth Centre will operate on the following days over the holidays: Friday, December 20; Monday, December 23; Friday, December 27; Monday, December 30; and Friday, January 3. These programs run from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
- Waste and Recycling Collection

Over the holidays, waste and recycling will be collected on your normal day except for those with Wednesday collection.
- If your normal collection day is Christmas (December 25), your waste and recycling will be collected instead on Saturday, December 28.
- If your normal collection day is Boxing Day (December 26), your waste and recycling will be collected on the 26th - there is no change to your schedule.
- If your normal collection day is New Year’s Day (January 1), your waste and recycling will be collected instead on Saturday, January 4.
As always, please set out your materials before 7:00 am.
Bluewater Recycling Association would like to remind you that wrapping paper, greeting cards and Christmas lights do not belong in your recycling bin - please put them in with your garbage.
