Middlesex Centre sent out final 2024 tax bills via post and email the first week of August.
The municipality issues two property tax bills a year - an interim bill in February and a final bill in August. The final bill is split into two instalments, due the last business day in August and the last business day in November. For 2024:
- the August instalment is due by August 30, and
- the November instalment is due by November 29.
If you did not receive your tax bill please contact the municipal office. Not receiving a bill does not relieve you of any penalty charges that might arise from late payment.
Please note:
- Keep your property tax bill for your records. There is a $15 fee to issue a replacement bill.
- If you pay by pre-authorized payment you still will receive tax bills. These are statements for your records.
- The insert that is included with your tax bill has details on waste and recycling rates and how to pay your taxes, among other items. The insert is attached here for those that pay their taxes through their mortgage.
Paying your Tax Bill
There are a number of options for paying your tax bills, including dropping-off cheques in the deposit box at the municipal office and paying online through your financial institution. For all options, please ensure you allow for adequate time for payment to be received.
For future bills, consider signing-up for pre-authorized payments.
