Middlesex Centre’s auditor presented the 2023 Audited Financial Statements. The statements were adopted by Council and will be available on the municipal website in the next few weeks. (The statements are available on the budget and finance page under "Financial Reports".)
In Brief
During the meeting, Council:
- Received an update on the Middlesex County Development Charge (DC) Study, which proposes the implementation of new development charges at the County level. Middlesex County will be hosting a statutory public meeting regarding the proposal to bring in DCs on June 26, 2024, with proposed implementation anticipated for July of 2024.
- Received the May 2023 budget to actuals report.
Planning Matters
Sitting in public meeting, Council heard applications for consent to sever, official plan, and zoning by-law amendments.
Next Council Meeting
The next regularly scheduled Middlesex Centre Council Meeting is set for Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. Please note that council meetings will be held at the Ilderton Community Centre for the duration of the municipal office renovation.
