About the Project
This project will see the current washrooms at Poplar Hill Park renovated to meet accessibility standards under Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). Renovations will include new automatic doors, fixtures, partitions, grab bars, change tables and counters.
Schedule
Construction is set to begin week of September 18, 2023, and continue throughout the fall, with an estimated completion date of December 20, 2023. Note this schedule may be affected by weather and other unforeseen circumstances.
The newly renovated washrooms will open to the public in May of 2024.
Alternative Washrooms During Closure
There are no alternative park washrooms available in Middlesex Centre as all are closing for the season.
