On February 1, 2023, Enbridge Gas Inc. will make an announcement with Middlesex Centre Fire Services and the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council regarding support for firefighter training and education.
From January 21-22, 2023, Canadian Army Reserve personnel will be conducting winter training in the vicinity of the community of Lobo, Middlesex Centre, Ontario.
Flags at the municipal office will be at half-mast in remembrance of Jack Baker. Mr. Baker served as a Councillor and Reeve for the former Township of Delaware.

Middlesex Centre welcomed the incoming 2022 to 2026 Municipal Council at its inaugural meeting on November 16, 2022. Mayor Aina DeViet, Deputy Mayor John Brennan, and the five ward councillors each took their oath of office in a formal swearing-in ceremony.
